Streets for All conceived and ran the campaign for Measure HLA, which passed in March 2024 with nearly 2/3rds of the vote in Los Angeles.

It mandates that all road repaving much include any improvements by the City’s Mobility Plan 2035 document, including hundreds of miles of dedicated bus lanes, protected bike lanes, and improved crosswalks and sidewalks.

The Hill to Sea corridor is a 28-mile route running down the combined Rosemead/Lakewood Boulevards. It would connect more than 2 million nearby residents to at least 6 east-west transit lines, regional parks and open spaces, medical centers, educational institutions, large commercial and job centers, the Long Beach Airport.
