Los Angeles has taken over Venice Blvd from the state and is now in the process of considering street upgrades and repaving to bring the street up to a good state of repair. Venice is the only street entirely inside the City of Los Angeles that stretches from DTLA to the ocean. It connects a wide number of diverse communities, was once a red-car route, and is on the city's High Injury Network. This meeting is our next step in the process. We’ll check in, see how our efforts are going, do some advocacy training, and move forward!
